Arnprior – The South Grenville Senior Rangers lost 6-5 to the Arnprior Riverman on Friday in Eastern Ontario Super Hockey League (EOSHL) action in Arnprior.
The Rangers got on the board first will a goal from Geoff Dempster and an assist from Adam Watson in the first period.
Arnprior would score the next four goals two in the first and two in the second.
Geoff Dempster would score his second goal of the game in the second period with assists from Broydon Stufko and Jared Fenlong.
Kristian Knapp (Matt Smith, #21 Connor Van Luit) would net one in the third period, along with Brandon Gilmour (Broydon Stufko, Zachary Lefebvre) and Broydon Stufko (Geoff Dempster, Zachary Lefebvre), who would tie the game up at 5-5 for South Grenville.
Justin Felhaber (Max Saito, #55 Brendan Mcintyre) scored the game-winning goal for the Rivermen in overtime.
The South Grenville Rangers will host the South Stormont Mustangs this Saturday at the Alaine Chartrand Arena. The puck drops at 7:30 pm.
