Westport – The Westport Lumberjacks lost an 8-1 decision to the Tweed Oil Kings on Saturday afternoon in Eastern Ontario Super Hockey League (EOSHL) action in Westport.
Tweed outshot the Lumberjacks 54 to 36 during the game.
In the third period, the lone Westport goal was scored by #55 Kylan Tavares (#71 Jayden Boyer, #29 Maverick Labrie).
Tavares also received the third star of the game.
The Lumberjacks will travel to Lindsay to play the Barncats this Saturday starting at 3:30 pm.
