Athens – The Athens Aeros won a 4-1 game over the Carleton Place Canadians on Sunday in EOJHL action at Centre 76.
There were no goals in the first period.
Nate Curson scored two goals in the game, one in the second and one in the third. Rhett Palmer and Tanner Hawkins each scored one goal, Palmer’s in the second period and Hawkins’ in the third period.
The Canadians did outshoot the Aeros 42 to 40 during the game.
Athens travels to Winchester on Friday night to play the Hawks. Game time is 8:15 pm.
