Westport Lumberjacks Won 9-5 Over Lindsay Barncats Saturday in EOSHL

Westport – The Westport Lumberjacks won a 9-5 decision over the Lindsay Barncats on Saturday in EOSHL action in Westport.

Scoring for Westport in the first period were, Kylan Tavares (Jayden Boyer), and Devon Burns. The Barncats would score one goal in the first.

In the second, it was all Lindsay as they scored three goals to take the lead at 4-2 at the end of the period.

The Lumberjacks would go on to pick up seven goals in the third period. Matt Halle would score three goals himself, Michael Anson picked up two goals and Jayden Boyer scored two as well.

Lindsay outshot Westport 54 to 45 in the game.

The Lumberjacks are off the ice until December 14th when they travel to Barry’s Bay to play the Madawaska Valley Wolves. Game time is 7:00 PM.
