Athens – The Athens Aeros have tied their Richardson Semi-Fainal series 1-1 after winning a 4-2 decision over the Richmond Royals in Game 2 on Tuesday night in Athens.
Richmond did outshoot the Aeros 49 to 31 during the game.
Scoring the four Athens goals were, Tanner Hawkins 1 (Tornberg, Curson), Tino Imerti 1 (McNulty, Palmer) and Drew Blevins 1 (Wight (AP), Viau) in the first period. The Aeros’ Case Hennessy (AP) would score the fourth goal in the third period.
Game three is tonight back in Richmond. The puck drops at 8:20 pm.
