
Brockville – Two teens, a 17-year-old male and a 19-year-old male have been charged with firearm possession after reports of them allegedly pointing and discharging an airsoft pistol on Water Street in Brockville.
Police say on March 5th, around 9:30 am, they received a call about two males who allegedly had a handgun. It was described that the males were pointing the gun at various objects and discharging it as they were walking the street.
Officers responded quickly and located the two subjects at the rear of City Hall, on Water Street where they were arrested at gunpoint. Police say no one was injured in the incident.
Police did find the handgun in question, which was determined to be an airsoft pistol.
The 17-year-old, male was charged with possession of a weapon for dangerous purposes and released with conditions and a future court date.
The 19-year-old, male was charged with possession of a weapon for dangerous purposes and two counts of failing to comply with probation. He was held in custody for a bail hearing.
