Gananoque – The Gananoque Islanders won Games 3 and 4 over the weekend in their EOSHL Quarterfinal series with the Deseronto Bulldogs winning the series 3-1 and advancing to the Semifinals.
On Saturday in Game 3 the Islanders won 7-3 over the Bulldogs in Deseronto while on Sunday in Game 4, they won 7-4 over Deseronto in Gananoque.
Gananoque is waiting for the outcome of the other Quarterfinal series between the Smiths Falls Rideaus and the Madawaska Valley Wolves. That series is now tied at 2-2 with Game 5 set for this Saturday in Smiths Falls.
The Islanders will face the winner of that series in the Semifinal series.
