2nd Annual Paul Gill Memorial Fishing Derby Being Held This Saturday, July 26th

Brockville – Join us for a heartfelt day of fishing and community spirit at the 2nd annual Paul Gill Memorial Fishing Derby this Saturday, July 26th, 2025, at Hardy Park in Brockville.

Set against the stunning backdrop of the St. Lawrence River, this event is a tribute to the memory of Paul Gill, a beloved legend and community builder in Brockville. Uncle Paul’s passion for fishing and his unwavering commitment to making a difference in the lives of others continue to inspire us all. As we come together to cast our lines in his honour, we celebrate his enduring legacy of kindness and generosity.​​

Whether you’re an experienced angler or just starting out, join us for a day filled with cherished memories, camaraderie, and the joy of giving back to our community. This will be Family Friendly event and lots to do at the Park, so we encourage you to bring the whole family.

At the Paul Gill Memorial Fishing Derby, we’ll be fishing for all in-season species (except Carp) — but especially for Paul’s favourite catch: Bass!
