Brockville – In about a week’s time, the Super DIRTcar Big Block Modified Series will roll into Brockville, Ontario Speedway.

Wednesday, July 30th, the popular Southeastern Ontario oval will host the first of this year’s 2 Super DIRTcar Series starts. The 75-lap Canadian Classic pays $ 7,500.00 to the winner at a show that will also include the Northeast Late Model Alliance. Track owner and promoter Paul Kirkland says excitement for the return of the Big Blocks started to build as soon as officials released the 2025 schedule.

“Just mentioning the term ‘Big Block Modifieds’ creates a buzz in the motorsports community,” said Paul Kirkland. “While a Big Block is the engine designation of choice for most of the teams on the Super DIRTcar Series Tour, on a track like ours, many racers have found a 358 powerplant to be quite effective. That opens the door for our Saturday regulars as well as other racers from the area.”

After a win by Tim Fuller in 2023 and Alex Payne’s first trip to the winner’s circle last year, this will be the 3rd edition of the Canadian Classic and the first season the track has hosted a pair of Big Block shows since 2019. The second date this year will take place Saturday, October 18th, during the Dirt Outlaw Apparel Northeast Fall Nationals.

Vanderlaan Building Products Northeast Late Model Alliance teams will once again be part of the raceday line-up. Brian McDonald was the group’s most recent winner, taking the checkered flag on Wednesday, July 16th at Cornwall Motor Speedway. Mother Nature played a role in the outcome of the July 17th event at Mohawk International Raceway, with the show washed out. Teams are now looking forward to the upcoming date at Brockville, Ontario Speedway.

Join the excitement as the Super DIRTcar Series Big Block Modifieds roll into The BOS – Wednesday, July 30th – for the first of this year’s marquee events.

Full schedule information, track news and event details can always be found by checking www.brockvillespeedway.com or the track’s various social media platforms and pages.

With 75 laps to settle the score and a $ 7,500 payday waiting for the winner, the 2025 Super DIRTcar Big Block Modified Series Canadian Classic roars to life – Wednesday, July 30th – at Brockville Ontario Speedway.
