Blockhouse Island to be Closed Late October 2 & Early October 3 for Asphalt Sealing

Brockville – The City will be performing 𝗮𝘀𝗽𝗵𝗮𝗹𝘁 𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 on various streets over the coming days.

Blockhouse Island will close late Thursday, October 2, 2025 and will remain closed the morning of Friday, October 3, with plans to reopen around 12 noon. There will be extra focus on Water Street East.

Please refrain from parking on the street where possible.

This preventative maintenance helps extend the life of our roads and improve driving conditions. Work areas will be marked, and traffic may be briefly impacted. Please use caution when travelling near crews and equipment.
