Brockville – Deborah Dunleavy the award-winning international storyteller and author is hosting another Storytelling Swap Night tonight at The Arts Hub, Lower Level in St. John’s United Church in Downtown Brockville.
It is being held from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Everyone is welcome and a contribution toward the rental of the facility is appreciated.
“On Wednesday, May 10th, I am excited to host another Storytelling Swap Night. Folks are invited to gather in a circle to tell a short story and to listen to one another. We start with a storytelling brain teaser to get everyone involved and invite folks to share a short story. It can be a personal account or something from oral traditions such as folk tales, legends, fairy lore or myths. We sometimes choose themes for upcoming swaps such as stories of love and romance, wisdom and wonder, or oceans and rivers.” said Deborah Dunleavy.
