
Brockville – The City of Brockville say a contractor will be replacing the traffic controller cabinets at two major intersections in the city.
When the lights are out, the stop signs will be lowered, and the intersection is to be treated as a four-way stop.
The first one is the California Avenue and Laurier Boulevard intersection lights on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, for the replacement of the traffic controller cabinets.
The city says that the contractor will lower the stop signs, and the intersection is to be treated as a 4-way stop for the duration of one day.
The Stewart Boulevard and Front Avenue intersection lights traffic controller cabinets will be replaced on Thursday, November 13, 2025, where the lights will be out for half of the day and on flash for the majority of the rest of the day.
Please avoid these intersections wherever possible.
