
Brockville – On October 31, 2025, at about 8:30 pm, police received a report of a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Parkedale Avenue and Ormond Street. Information was that there were three vehicles involved in the collision.
Investigation revealed that a 24-year-old female was driving her vehicle and approaching the intersection where traffic was stopped. The described driver did not stop in time and struck the rear of the vehicle ahead, forcing it forward into the rear of a third, involved vehicle. No one was injured in the collision.
While officers were speaking with all involved individuals, the 24-year-old female who was the cause of the collision was noticed to be under the influence of alcohol. After speaking with the driver further, it was determined that she was impaired and placed under arrest. She was taken to the Brockville Police Service for testing, which confirmed that she was impaired.
The female driver’s licence was suspended, vehicle impounded, and she was released with a future court date for the offences of operation while impaired and operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration over 80mg.
