Braves Blanked 4-0 By Smiths Falls Bears on Sunday

Smiths Falls – The Smiths Falls Bears shut out the Brockville Braves 4–0 on Sunday afternoon in CCHL action at the Smiths Falls Memorial Centre.

After a scoreless first period, the Bears took control in the second with goals from Hails and Parker, the latter coming on the power play.

Smiths Falls added to their lead in the third as Ott and Dudziak each found the back of the net to secure the victory.

Tremblay was perfect between the pipes, stopping all 22 shots he faced for the shutout.

The Braves were outshot 39 to 33 by the Bears during the game.

Brockville hosts the Rockland Nationals this Friday night, starting at 7:30 pm at the Memorial Centre.
