Merrickville/Smiths Falls – The CPKC Holiday Train will make its annual stop in Merrickville and Smiths Falls this evening
Now in its 27th year, the Holiday Train raises money and collects food across CPKC’s extensive network in Canada and the United States, supporting community food banks and making a real difference for families in need.
The Holiday Train rolls into Merrickville this afternoon, (Friday, November 28th) at 4:45 pm at 103 East Broadway & County Road 2 until 5:30 pm.
Then it will arrive in Smiths Falls for 6:30 pm – 7:00 pm at the VIA station, 63 Victoria Avenue.
Get ready for incredible live performances by Jade Eagleson and Teigen Gayse, plus all the magical lights and festive fun the Holiday Train is known for.
In Merrickville, if you’re able, please bring a non-perishable food item or a financial donation to support the Food Cupboard Program in Merrickville and the South Grenville Food Bank. Every little bit helps local families this season.
In Smiths Falls, if you’re able, please bring a non-perishable food item or a financial donation to support Smiths Falls Community Food Bank as the pre-party festivities kick off at The Station Theatre (55 Victoria Ave.) at 5:00 PM, featuring free hot chocolate (SF Community Theatre & PuroClean), The Wizard of Sound (DJ), BeaverTails, Junibels’ Bakery, Mama G’s & 4 Degrees Brewing Co., Starbucks, and Sugar Rush Carnival Delights.
