Kemptville Won 6-5 in OT Over Smiths Falls Friday Night

Smiths Falls – The Kemptville 73s won a 6-5 decision in overtime over the Smiths Falls Bears on Friday night in Smiths Falls.

Scoring for Kemptville were William St. James (Davis, Tym (AP)), and Will Mullins (McDougall, Hennessy) in the first period, Eric Sweetapple (Beaulieu, Voisey), Case Hennessy (Achim, Henderson) on the power play in the second period and Darius Nichols (Grant, Hennessy) in the third.

The overtime winning goal was scored by Alexis Beaulieu at 1:44 in the period to win the game for the 73s.

The Bears outshot the 73s 31 to 27 during the game.
