
Kemptville – The Kemptville 73’s outlasted the Cornwall Colts 5–4 in a shootout on Friday night at the North Grenville Municipal Centre.
Kulas opened the scoring for the 73’s before Cornwall answered with goals from Lamb and Walker to lead after one. Second-period goals by Mullins and Campbell were countered by Lauzon, sending the game to the third period tied.
Achim put Kemptville ahead early in the third, but McCuaig tied it late to force overtime. After a scoreless extra frame, shootout goals from Ouellette and Achim sealed the win.
Donovan made 26 saves, while Poitras stopped 39 shots.
