“Thank You, Leeds and Grenville! From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who came out for Coldest Night of the Year. Your compassion and commitment made a powerful difference for people in our community experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness,” said organizers. “We are so grateful for every walker, volunteer, staff member, and community partner who showed up, braved the cold, and stood together in support of our work.”
Eighty-nine walkers on fifteen teams participated in either the 2 km or 5 km walk in support of the John Howard Society of Kingston & District’s programming in Brockville and Leeds-Grenville which includes services for homeless populations, youth, and justice-involved individuals.
If you weren’t able to donate yet or would still like to contribute the donation portal remains open until March 31, 2026. Every donation helps them continue providing critical housing and homelessness supports.
