Smiths Falls – The Smiths Falls Bears scored seven un-answered goals to defeat the Brockville Braves 10–3 on Sunday afternoon at the Smiths Falls Memorial Centre.

Blais, Ott and Riopel scored in the first to give Smiths Falls an early lead. Sled, Lowry and Cuglietta answered quickly for Brockville in the second, but Heins, Riopel, Parker and Sheridan restored control for the Bears. Beauchesne, Veltkamp and Heron added third-period goals to seal the win.

Riopel and Rabe each had four points. Ruddy stopped 7 of 10 shots before Heideman turned aside all 7 in relief for Smiths Falls. Li made 22 saves on 27 shots and Galbraith stopped 11 of 16 for Brockville.

Six days remain in the regular season. Brockville needs a single point to ensure they are in the playoffs. They travel to Renfrew tonight to play the Wolves starting at 8:00 pm.
