George Tierney is known locally as an organizer, instigator and musician. He is Artistic Director at The Pews, in Merrickville, spearheads several porchfest events and spent six years on the board of the Canadian Folk Music Awards.
He can be found on-stage as a solo act or with his “pseudo-Celtic garage band”, HappyCrap. He also shares the story of a rare and unique old guitar through his YouTube channel, One guitar, one hundred hands.
