
Prescott – The 52nd annual Leo Boivin International U18 AA Showcase is being held this weekend from Thursday, March 26th to Sunday, March 29th at the Alaine Chartrand Community Centre.
Admission is $20 for Adult Weekend Pass, Daily Pass is $8. Senior (65+) and U13 Weekend Pass is $15 and the daily pass is $6. U5 admitted free.
The showcase will see 12 teams competing, your South Grenville Rangers, Sarnia/Lambton U18 Jr. Stings, Canadian International Hockey Academy (CIHA) from Rockland, Upper Canada Cyclones, Seventh Fire Eagles from Thunder Bay, Mount Academy U17 from North Rustico, PEI, OHA U17 from Cornwall, Don Mills Flyers, Gloucester Rangers, BioSteel Sports Academy from Windsor, Mount Academy U18 and the Eastern Ontario Wild from Ottawa.
Everything kicks off this Thursday at 6:30 pm with the South Grenville U7 Rangers followed by the first game of the showcase at 7:30 pm with the Gloucester Rangers versus Cornwall’s OHA U17.
Opening Ceremonies will be held on Friday night starting at 6:30 pm.
Friday will see hockey games starting at 9:30 am and running all day with the last game starting at 9:00 pm. Saturday the first games starts at 8:00 am with the last game starting at 9:15 pm. At 3:30 pm on Saturday is the Ingredion Skills Competition.
On Sunday are the semi-finals and finals with the first game at 8:00 am and the last game starting at 7:15 pm.
