Brockville – Shootout Fishing League is excited to announce a new top-level sponsorship and partnership with Daiwa Canada for the 2026 season.
Thanks to Daiwa’s support, Shootout Fishing will now be able to increase regular season event payouts to the Top 11 teams. As always, SFL will continue to pay back the Top 10 in all events with 50 boats or more, but this season brings an exciting new twist.
For 2026, two Daiwa Tatula reels will be available as prize options for qualifying teams in place of cash, should they choose. With 9th Place typically averaging $500 and 10th Place averaging $400, teams may prefer the higher-value Daiwa reel package. If that happens, it opens the door for 11th Place to move into a cash-paying position.
No matter how it plays out, one thing is certain: in 2026, the “bubble boy” team in 11th Place will walk away with a strong prize for a great finish.
The addition of Daiwa Canada to the Shootout Fishing League is a major step forward for the series. It shows that respected companies — alongside our valued existing sponsors — continue to invest in the growth of competitive fishing.
Having a brand with Daiwa’s reputation and credibility involved elevates SFL to an even higher level of professionalism and support for the future of the sport.
Thank you, Daiwa Canada. @shootoutfishing @daiwacanada #growingthesport #fishingcanada🇨🇦 #fishingontario
