With Partial Funding from the Blue Jay’s Care Foundation
Gananoque – Join the Town of Gananoque and the Jays Care Foundation on Monday, May 29th as they unveil the upgraded Town Park Baseball Field.
There will be a ribbon cutting at 5:30 pm with Mayor of Gananoque, John Beddows and Jessica Yep, Senior Manager with the Jays Care Foundation which is the charitable arm of the Toronto Blue Jays.
In 2021, Gananoque received a $100,000 Field of Dreams grant from Jays Care Foundation in addition the town contributed $149,200 to redevelop Town Park Baseball Field. It included better drainage, new fencing, new benches, a new infield mix as well as restoration of the outfield.
There will be complimentary cupcakes and hot dogs (first 100 people) Sponsored by No Frills Gananoque. The Gananoque Fire Service have donated their time to BBQ the hot dogs.
At 5:45 PM the Jays Care Clinic begins (By invitation through Gananoque Little League Baseball)
