
Brockville – The Brockville and District Chamber of Commerce is proud to present the recipient of the 2026 Citizen of the Year Award to Terry Wills at the 67th Awards of Excellence Gala.
A fourth-generation owner of a long-standing family business, Terry Wills has demonstrated exceptional leadership, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to both business excellence and community service.
Under Terry’s leadership, Wills Transfer Limited has continued to build on its legacy while embracing innovation and growth. The organization was recognized as the 2021 Brockville & District Chamber of Commerce Business of the Year and has maintained Canada’s Best Managed Companies Gold Standard designation for ten consecutive years. The company has also earned recognition as one of Canada’s Safest Employers and received a Top Fleet Award, reflecting its commitment to operational excellence, safety, and accountability.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, his philanthropic efforts are carried out with humility and are focused on creating meaningful, lasting impact. Through his involvement with Future Vision Ministries, Terry has played a key role in supporting transformational initiatives in Malawi, Africa, including the development of a health center, the construction of community wells, and the establishment of two schools that are already making a difference for local families.
Closer to home, Terry serves as a respected lay pastor and leader within the Christian community. He also actively supports numerous organizations and initiatives, including the United Way, Palliative Care services, Girls Inc., the local Food Bank, Relay for Life, BGC, and a range of humanitarian efforts.
Terry Wills’ vision, generosity, and lifelong commitment to serving others make him an outstanding recipient of the 2026 Citizen of the Year Award.
