The annual Mike Chenier Memorial Fishing Derby is Taking Place As Well!
Brockville – The annual River Jams is back in Brockville this Saturday, July 8th in Hardy Park running from 9 am to 9 pm.
The free summer festival will feature 9 live bands, a volleyball tournament, Mike Cheniers Memorial Fishing Derby, BBQ, a Kids Zone, Vendor Show, a Beer garden and much more entertainment throughout the day.

1 pm = Soul to Squeeze
2 pm = Amanda Keeley
3 pm = River City Junction
4 pm = Days of Thieves
5 pm = Cole LeBlanc
6 pm = Luscious Band
7 pm = Jeff Callery
8 pm = Greatest Of Ease
In addition, the Brockville Dive Centre is offering the mermaid experience along with River Mermaid Brie. $20 gets you an experience with Brie in the pool at Hardy Park. Also, they are offering Discover scuba diving, $20 gets you a mini Discover scuba session with a professional in the pool at Hardy Park. All proceeds are being given to the River Jam organizers to be donated to Palliative care.
As well the Mike Cheniers Memorial Fishing Derby is being held Saturday. The derby runs from 6 am to 12 noon, with weight in at noon as part of River Jams.
Registration is $25 per angler. Proceeds go to Palliative Care.
