21st Annual Brockville Ribfest in Support of Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Leeds & Grenville Begins Today at 11:00 AM! – Video

Brockville – The 21st annual Brockville Ribfest in support of Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Leeds & Grenville begins today starting at 11:00 am and runs until Sunday, August 13th in Hardy/Centennial Parks in Downtown Brockville.

The 4-day family fun festival has a lot to offer, including a Kids Zone, Vendor Village and Food Booths, Rib Easting contest, Volleyball Tournament, Fishing Derby, Arm Wrestling competition, Ribfest Idol, Ribs and live music.

Hometown TV12 spoke with Brockville Ribfest’s Bobby Orr on Wednesday during the setup of what you can expect at this year’s Brockville Ribfest.

Once again there will be 8 ribbers, Ribs Royale, Dinosaur Smokehouse, Silver Bullet BBQ, Smokehouse Bandits, Bone Daddys, Crabby’s BBQ Shack, Billy Bones BBQ and Bubba Lou’s BBQ.

As Canada’s leading child and youth mentoring charity, Big Brothers Big Sisters facilitates life-changing relationships that inspire and empower children and youth to reach their potential, both as individuals and citizens. By participating in Brockville Ribfest, you are helping us make a positive difference in the lives of our community’s youth.

Live entertainment on Thursday will include, Joe Baptista, Riverhouse Band, The Lads, Open Road and Jordy Jackson.

Friday’s live entertainment will see, Tinted Wisdom, Those Guys, Crossing Lines, Issabel Charboneau, 2022 Ribfest Idol Winner, Rapture and Sammi and The Boys.

The popular Rib Eating Contest will take place on Friday at 6:00 pm.

Saturday’s lineup of live entertainment will see Rock School with Mark and Leo, Drumming Circle at Kids Zone, Ryan James, Drumming Circle at Kids Zone, Mark Bergman, The Instigators
and ACDC Canada Show.

The second annual 2023 Ribfest Idol is taking place at 5:00 pm on Saturday.

The last day of Ribfest, Sunday will feature, CR5 Bluegrass, Cojone and the Hollow Bodies, Marleen Fawcett, and Healy and Orr.

The 2023 Ribfest Ribber Awards will take place at 3:30 pm.
