Brockville – A unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the artistry of Anne Jaffray-Ziegler and acquire an original painting from the collection that helped define our nation’s creative spirit.
The exhibition and sale are running on October 14th from 10 am to 5 pm and October 15th from 12 pm to 4 pm at Arts Hub Brockville located in St John’s United Church at the corner of Park and King Street in Brockville.
Anne Jaffray-Ziegler, an extraordinary artist who was a contemporary of the Group of Seven and Beaver Hall Group, left an indelible mark on the Canadian art landscape. Her passion for art spanned six remarkable decades, guided by the mentorship of renowned artists such as F. McGilvray Knowles, J.W. Beatty, and Franz Johnston. Her work is not only a testament to Canada’s artistic evolution on the global stage but also a testament to her enduring legacy.
This exhibition is more than just a showcase of Anne’s brilliance; it’s an opportunity to make a real difference.
Proceeds from this event will go towards the WT Ziegler and Anne Jaffray-Ziegler Bursary at St. Lawrence College, supporting the next generation of scholars.
