Brockville – On Friday, November 3, 2023, at about 5:00 a.m., police received a call from a female on Perth St., advising her 30-year-old, ex-boyfriend, was in her backyard and appeared to be under the influence of drugs.
It was quickly identified that the male was on three separate probation
orders with various conditions. Some of which are to abstain from communicating with the female complainant.
Officers arrived and located the male subject. When officers arrested him, he attempted to flee and fight with officers. Control was quickly gained and no one was seriously injured.
Officers also believed the male to be under the influence of drugs. He was charged with trespass by night, resisting arrest and three counts of failing to comply with probation. He was held in custody for a bail hearing.
