Ottawa – The Festival of Small Halls is back this season with a special ‘Hall-iday’ series over two weekends at small halls across Eastern Ontario.
Deck The SmallHalls starting this weekend, November 24th and 25th.
This Friday, November 24th is the East Coast Experience at the Althorpe Bolingbroke Community Hall in Mayberly.
Since their formation in 2017, multi-instrumentalist Bill Quigley and Marco Belanger have been gracing Canadian stages from Ontario to Newfoundland delivering high-energy performances and selling out Tap Rooms, Concert Halls, and Music Festivals along the way. Also on Friday in Spencerville is Coig with the Blue Skies Fiddle Orchestra being held at the Spencerville United Church.
Novas Scotia’s Còig (Trio) presents an evening of fiery Celtic holiday music, with lively instrumentals, stirring vocals and seasonal favourites that will be sure to put you in the festive spirit. More information on the trio here.
The Blue Skies Community Fiddle Orchestra” is all ages from 8 to 88 amateur community fiddle orchestra. The Orchestra is sponsored by Blue Skies in the Community, the non-profit charitable arm of the Blue Skies Music Festival. More information on the orchestra here.
Two more concerts on Saturday will see Coig performing at the Seeleys Bay Community Hall in Seeley’s Bay. More information on Coig is here.
The East Coast Experience is performing at the Oakfield Rugby Park in Perth. This concert is sold out.
