Brockville – The Brockville Braves continued their comeback trail on Friday night with a hard-fought 4-1 victory over the CCHL reigning champs, the Ottawa Junior Senators at the Memorial Centre.
It was a great team victory, Dustin Riff was astounding between the pipes, Kimani Eccleston continues to shine as a 16-year-old rookie (1st star by the way), and Liam Cardiff made a nice move on Shibley to score one of the goals.
Lucas Culhane maintained his scoring pace with the empty netter. Owen Watson picked up a pair of assists to back up his challenge for the scoring lead in the CCHL.
It was nice to see him acknowledge some young fans after the game and pose for a picture for them.
The Braves travel to the Ma-Te-Way Activity Centre on Wednesday night in Renfrew to play the Wolves. Game time is 7:00 pm.
