Brockville – The 2024 Dive Brockville Adventure Centre Polar Bear Dip was a great success on Monday welcoming 2024.
Forty-seven brave dippers participated in this year’s dip held at Centeen Park raising almost $2,000 for the Ontario SPCA Leeds & Grenville Animal Centre.
They were also collecting food items for the Brockville & Area Food Bank, with a great amount collected.
Event organizer Helen Cooper from Dive Brockville Adventure Centre said, “There were quite a few first time dippers braving the 3-degree water but it was a lovely day, with no wind and a balmy -2 Celsius. Well done everyone and thank you for your support!”
