Brockville – The Brockville Operatic Society is hosting a workshop series: Hack Your Audition with Heather Jones on Saturday, January 20th.
You want to perform and your community theatre has put out an audition notice. Either you’ve never auditioned before, and you don’t know where to start, or you have been auditioning for shows, but are still not confident that you are bringing your best. Learn how to give an audition that the director will remember (in a good way)!
Vocal auditions are typically one of the most nerve-wracking experiences for the average person. Heather Jones is an experienced vocal instructor and performer who has prepared singers of all ages for auditions for community theatre, post-secondary institutions, and professional development courses. Chances are, you have auditioned for her in the past!
The workshop series is being offered to all ages and skill levels.
It is being held on Saturday, January 20 at 1:00 pm at the Brockville Arts Center Musi-Theatre at the back of the Brockville Arts Centre. Enter through the door closest to the back of the building in the alley between the Arts Centre and Metro.
The cost is a $10.00 regular fee and $20.00 for one-on-one coaching.
There are only four one-on-one spaces available, so register soon… first come first serve!
