17th annual 1000 Islands Regatta & Festival

The 17th annual 1000 Islands Regatta & Festival is being held June 27th, 28th & 29th along the shores of the St. Lawrence River in Brockville.

The event will feature two days of Hydroplane racing, live music, as well as a Kids zone, vendors and food vendors in Downtown Brockville.

Everything gets underway on Friday at 5:00 pm when the gates open. Friday’s musical lineup is Twin Turbos, then the Road Apples, a Tragically Hip tribute band, taking the stage, finishing up with Honeymoon Suite.

Saturday night’s music lineup is Dirty Little Alibi, Eastbound of Bytown and Shania Twin.

On both Saturday & Sunday, the gates open at 9:00 am with the hydroplane races being held from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm each day.

The classes racing this weekend will include Novice, JSS (Jersey Speed Skiff), 2.5L, F2500, H350, Pro Hydro and Grand Prix.
