Friends of Mac Johnson Wildlife Area Winter Festival

Join the Friends of Mac Johnson Wildlife Area for their annual Winter Festival on January 25th, 2025 from 10 am to 2 pm.
The Mush Larose Dogsled Teams will kick off the excitement with their races at 11 am.
Arrive early to meet the dogs and their teams or grab a hot drink and something yummy to eat from the canteen. Don’t forget to make time to visit the Kids’ Zone and try on a pair of snowshoes, give the scavenger hunt a whirl, get creative in the Snow Village, or take a funny family photo at the nature-inspired photo booth. Gather by the campfire and warm up with friends, a hot chocolate, and a marshmallow or two.
This event is “by donation” and all proceeds raised will go back to sharing our love for nature, conservation, and community at Mac Johnson Wildlife Area.
