Seedy Saturday at the Brockville Public Library

Get ready for spring and join us for a free seed exchange at the library. You’ll pick up some free seeds, and learn about plants and gardening, pollinators, composting and more!
At 11 am, master gardener Bev Wagar will offer a presentation in our first-floor meeting room, where she will go over the basics of growing plants from seed. At 12pm, Siggy Leslie-Casselman will offer a presentation on food sovereignty from both an Indigenous and non-Indigenous perspective.
Have seeds to share? Bring them with you, packaged and labelled with date and variety, to exchange with other seed savers. Please be mindful to avoid invasive species.
