Winter Festival – Mac Johnson Wildlife Area

Join the Friends of Mac Johnson Wildlife Area for our Winter Festival on Saturday, January 27 from 10 am to 2 pm.
Mush Larose Dog Sled teams will race on the trails; and kids can create a snow village, snowshoe, build a bird feeder and play games. Campfires with marshmallow roasting, a chilli and hot dog canteen plus hiking on the trails will round out the day.
The Friends are hoping for lots of snow by late January. However, if enough snow does not fall, the Winter Festival will go ahead anyway with different activities we have planned for kids and adults!
Location: 4649 Debruge Road, Brockville (north entrance to Mac Johnson at Tin Cap)
Time: 10 am to 2 pm
Cost: Admission by donation; Canteen items individually priced (credit, debit and cash)
