SUMMARY:50th Leo Boivin International U18 AAA Showcase
DESCRIPTION:It runs from Thursday\, March 28th to Sunday\, March 31st at the Alaine Chartrand Community Centre in Prescott. \nTeams participating this year will include\, the hometown team\, South Grenville Rangers\, Rideau St. Lawrence Kings\, Ontario Hockey Academy\, Eastern Ontario Wild\, Upper Canada Cyclones\, Gloucester Rangers\, Nepean Raiders\, Newmarket Renegades\, Whitby Wildcats\, Markham Majors and the Canadian International Hockey Academy. \nAdmission for the showcase is Adults\, Weekend Pass – $20 and $8 daily. Seniors and U13 the weekend pass is $15 and $6 daily. U5 are admitted free. \nEverything gets underway on Thursday night when the Rideau St. Lawrence Kings take on the Eastern Ontario Wild in Game 1 starting at 7:00 pm. \nThe Showcase continues on Friday from 9:30 am to 10:30 pm. The home team\, South Grenville Rangers play their first game at 12:30 pm on Friday playing the Ontario Hockey Academy (OHA). \nOpening Ceremonies for the 50th Leo Boivin Showcase is being held Friday night starting at 6:30 pm followed by the Ranger’s second game of the tourney at 7:30 pm when they play the Newmarket Renegades. \nFriday night is also Alumni Night\, celebrating and recognizing all alumni\, volunteers\, players\, team staff\, referees and fans. \nThe showcase continues on Saturday from 8:00 am to 10:30 pm with the Ingredion Skills Competition being held at 3:30 pm. \nSunday play from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm with semi-final games. The championship game starts at 7:15 pm on Sunday.
