The sales take place at the Mac Johnson Wildlife Area’s tree nursery\, located at 4673 Debruge Road (Tin Cap) in Brockville. \nIn early May\, after taking inventory\, the Friends will post a list of species for sale (which will include deciduous and coniferous trees\, as well as shrubs) at www.cataraquiconservation.ca/pages/friends-mac-johnson. \nPayment can be made by credit or debit card\, cheque\, or cash. DESCRIPTION:Six local churches are participating in this year’s Big Gift free charity event being held Saturday\, June 3rd at local churches around Brockville. \nFirst Presbyterian at 10 Church Street\, is organizing a free garage sale\, with cookies on offer\, from 9:30 am. to noon\, while First Baptist at 5 Pine Street is offering a barbecue\, “music and manicures\,” with ladies from the church providing the manicures\, from 11 am to 1 pm. \nBethel Christian Reformed Church and Christ Church Lyn are at 117 Windsor Drive and will host a yard sale and light brealfast from 8 am to noon. \nSt. Paul’s Anglican at 12 Pine Street will hold a yard sale offering children’s toys and clothing\, as well as cookies and lemonade\, from 9:30 am to noon. \nFinally\, St. John’s United Church\, 32 Park Street will host their yard sale from 8 am to 1 pm.

We’re excited to announce that the day will be hosted by Harper Cotie of Brockville’s Bounce Radio! \nThe BBQ and canteen will be open all day thanks to our Alumni Day sponsor\, The Keystorm Pub\, all proceeds from the canteen go directly back into the ball club for the purchase of a new batting cage. The Keystorm Pub will also be hosting our Alumni Evening\, beginning at 5 pm. All Bunnies players (past and present)\, families\, friends\, and fans are welcome to attend what is sure to be a fun evening. \nOur Alumni Day rosters are named after 4 legendary coaches from the Bunnies organization. At 10:30 am\, catch Team Richard “Bunnie” Bradfield taking on Team Brian McCrobie. Then\, at 1:45 pm\, Team Jack Giffin takes on Team Boyd Caldwell. In between games\, a special ceremony will be held to honour Roger “Hodgie” Hodgkinson\, for his commitment to our program and his efforts in keeping the Bunnies’ legacy alive. Join us at 12:30 pm as we cement Hodgie’s legacy into Fulford Park forever. \nHead over to Jack Giffin Field at Fulford Park this Saturday to catch some great baseball\, grab some lunch\, and be part of Bunnies history.
