My eyes have led my fingers ever since!” \nBio\nDiana Earle has worked with Clay since 1973 and became a professional potter in 1981. She specialized in finely crafted thrown vessels\, later exploring hand-built sculptural forms. She embraced both Raku and smoke-firing techniques that enhanced her work. \nDiana’s training began at St. Lawrence College. She has since been taught by many international Clay Artists. DESCRIPTION:The City of Brockville along with the Aquatarium and the Royal Canadian Air Force are hosting a solar eclipse watching event on Blockhouse Island from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. \nIt will feature special activities\, local artisans and vendors\, food trucks\, a bouncy castle\, performances by the Royal Canadian Air Force Pipes & Drums\, face painting\, chalk art contest\, telescope viewing area\, and more. \nBlockhouse will be closed to traffic during this time. DESCRIPTION:The Friends of Fulford Place Association are holding their second annual juried art show and sale this weekend. \nIt runs Friday\, May 3rd from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm\, Saturday\, May 4th from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm and Sunday\, May 5th from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. \nOver fifty artists are submitting their work\, showcasing the area’s local talent. \nA meet and greet with the artists is being held on Friday\, May 3rd from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm \nOn Saturday and Sunday\, the exhibit space will be open for visitors to peruse the art and maybe purchase a piece for themselves. \nThis is a fundraiser for Fulford Place Museum.
