DESCRIPTION:The DIFA 2025 Summer Festival is being held this Saturday\, July 19th\, in Rotary Park. \nThe day will feature amazing local music\, some great food\, a shopping experience with local vendors\, and a licensed beer tent. \nThe event starts at 1:00 pm. Come out\, bring a chair\, grab a bite to eat and or an amazing lemonade from J&M Evan’s Smoked BBQ and Old Time Lemonade. \nThere will be four bands during the day: Sun Dried Flies\, The Lads\, EASY Electrified Blues Band and The Foils.

SUMMARY:161st Lansdowne Fair
DESCRIPTION:The 161st Lansdowne Fair begins this Thursday\, July 17th and runs until Sunday\, July 20th\, at the Lansdowne Fairgrounds. \nThe fun-filled country fair with lots to see and do\, with live music on Thursday night with Country Legends\, Tribute to Garth & Shania\, a demolition derby on Saturday night\, and a Truck and Tractor Pull on Sunday. \nAs well as lots of midway rides by World’s Finest Shows\, children’s activities\, and horse shows. \nTickets are\, $10 for Thursday and Friday daily admission. $15 for Saturday and Sunday daily admission. Children 12 and under are free. \nA weekend pass is $40 and can be purchased in advance at the Fair Office from July 14th to 18th. \nGates open at 3:00 pm on Thursday and Friday\, and 8:00 am on Saturday and Sunday. \nOpening day\, Thursday\, will see Colby Davis\, Sheep Shearing demonstrations\, Mini King & Queen Contest\, Opening Ceremonies\, and live music by Country Legends Tribute to Garth & Shania. \nFriday will see a Seniors’ Fun Art Paint Party\, Seniors’ Day\, Sheep Shearing demonstrations\, Seniors Games\, and Draft Horse Pull. Live music on Friday will be by Blue River Band. \nSaturday will see Toasted Metal Forge\, Chainsaw Carver\, Heavy Horse Show and Miniature Horse Show\, Mary Lambert Children’s Music\, Face Painting\, Hay Bale Throwing Contest and more. Live music on Saturday will see Bill White and the White Brothers. Saturday night is the Demolition Derby. \nOn Sunday\, there will be a Pancake Breakfast\, Antique/Classic Car Show\, Clydesdale Power Strongman/Strong Woman Competition\, a Baby Contest\, Junior Fair board Water Fun\, Chicken BBQ\, Tractor Pulls\, a talent show\, kiddie Pedal Tractor Pull and more. \nLive music on Sunday will include County Road 5 Blue Grass. \nFor more information and the full schedule\, please visit: https://lansdownefair.ca/
