DESCRIPTION:Canine Watersports Canada’s 2025 Canadian Dock Jumping Championships are back in Brockville from Friday\, August 22nd to Sunday\, August 24th in Centennial/Hardy Park. \nThis year\, Canine Watersports Canada is celebrating its 10th Anniversary and 10 years of the Canadian Dock Jumping Championships. \nCanine Watersports Canada officially launched in January 2016 and is Canada’s first 100% Canadian-owned and operated dock jumping company. \nThe three-day event will feature the popular long-distance Jump\, where dogs run down a 36-foot dock and jump into a 45-foot pool of water\, chasing their toy for the longest jump. \nToss\, which is similar to Jump; however\, the dog must catch the object thrown by the handler. \nGrab\, which is a combined height and distance discipline\, consists of 3 divisions\, and Lure\, which is a timed swimming race that is similar to lure coursing in the water. \nEverything gets underway on Friday\, with a practice starting at 9:00 am\, followed by Jump #1 at 10:00 am. DESCRIPTION:Canine Watersports Canada’s 2025 Canadian Dock Jumping Championships are back in Brockville from Friday\, August 22nd to Sunday\, August 24th in Centennial/Hardy Park. \nThis year\, Canine Watersports Canada is celebrating its 10th Anniversary and 10 years of the Canadian Dock Jumping Championships. \nCanine Watersports Canada officially launched in January 2016 and is Canada’s first 100% Canadian-owned and operated dock jumping company. \nThe three-day event will feature the popular long-distance Jump\, where dogs run down a 36-foot dock and jump into a 45-foot pool of water\, chasing their toy for the longest jump. \nToss\, which is similar to Jump; however\, the dog must catch the object thrown by the handler. \nGrab\, which is a combined height and distance discipline\, consists of 3 divisions\, and Lure\, which is a timed swimming race that is similar to lure coursing in the water. \nEverything gets underway on Friday\, with a practice starting at 9:00 am\, followed by Jump #1 at 10:00 am. A Texas Hold’em Poker Tournament at Lower Beverly Lake Park at 1:00 pm.\, and a Scarecrow contest display at Russell Greenspace all day. \nThere will be farmers market and vendors all day throughout the village\, a car show and Jackpot Barrel racing & pole bending. \nA 50/50 raffle will also be held and musical entertainment will be provided by Jeff Code and the Silver Wings band.

SUMMARY:59th Annual Delta Maple Syrup Festival
DESCRIPTION:The 59th annual Delta Maple Syrup Festival is taking place Saturday\, April 18th and Sunday\, April 19th at the Delta Fairgrounds. Hosted by the Delta Agricultural Society it will feature all-you-can-eat pancakes\, local vendors\, and family-friendly activities. \nIt runs from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. Enjoy all-you-can-eat pancakes served with fresh maple syrup. Admission is Ages 11 and older: $12\, Ages 6 to 10: $8 and ages 5 and under: Free. \nThe first order of pancakes includes sausages\, with additional sausages available for $5. \nThe festival will feature various maple syrup and craft vendors\, along with a craft sale and activities for children. There will also be a large book sale at the Old Town Hall. Ball hockey will be held at DARS\, while tours of the Old Stone Mill and the Delta Fire Hall Museum will be available.
