DESCRIPTION:The annual Merrickville Fair hosted by the Marrickville Agricultural Society is happening August 11th to 13th at the Merrickville Fairgrounds. \nThe fair gates are open from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm Friday and Saturday and 7:00 am to 4:00 pm on Sunday. \nThere will be lots to see and do during the fair including a Children’s Horse & pony Show\, 4-H Inter County Sheep Show\, Sheep Shearing Demos\, Truck Pull\, Canadian Horse Show\, The Zoo Crew\, Dr. Kaboom\, Corn Hole Toss Tournament\, Horse Pull\, Children’s Pedal Tractor Pull\, Antique Tractor Pull\, Draft & Mini Horse Show\, Dairy Cattle Open Show\, BBQ\, live entertainment by Kiefer Layne and Rosewood on Saturday and an Open Mic on Saturday evening. It is their goal and purpose in the world to help women to do what they have only ever dreamed of\, whether it is something as large as finding balance between the demands of home and work\, or as seemingly simple\, but elusive\, as finding peace within their own lives and hearts. Jackie recently published a book of Poetry titled: Eating Her Young: Poems for the Disruption of Motherhood. \nAbout Mary-Louise Scappaticci: \nMary-Louise Scappaticci (Scapp-ART-ticci) is an inspirational artist and educator who uses her art to challenge people to be themselves and embrace individuality.
