There will be no overtime for any games played\, and because it is a recreational tournament\, there will be no playoffs. \nAdmission is free! \nAll proceeds from the third annual Magedoma Old Timers hockey charity event will be contributed to the Weekenders Charity program (WP4K)

DESCRIPTION:The 51st annual Leo Boivin International U18 AAA Showcase runs from Thursday\, March 20th to Sunday\, March 23rd at the Alaine Chartrand Community Centre in Prescott. \nTeams participating this year will include\, the hometown team\, South Grenville Rangers\, Rideau St. Lawrence Kings\, Kanata Blazers\, Kapuskasing Flyers\, Ontario Hockey Academy\, Markham Majors\, Biosteel Sports Academy\, Ottawa Sting\, and the Ottawa Jr. 67’s. \nOn Thursday night\, a ‘Prelude to the Leo’ is Ranger’s Night with a U7 Showcase starting at 5:30 pm followed by the U13Rep Rangers versus the Demons championship series at 6:00 pm and wrapping up with the U15Rep Rangers versus the Royals Championship Series at 7:30 pm. \nThe Showcase tournament begins on Friday at 9:30 am with the first game\, Ottawa Sting versus Ontario Hockey Academy (OHA). \nThe South Grenville Rangers have their first game at 12:30 pm on Friday when they face the Kapuskasing Flyers. \nThe Opening Ceremony will take place on Friday at 6:30 pm. DESCRIPTION:The 2025 Rideau St Lawrence Science Fair is taking place Thursday\, April 10\, at the North Grenville Municipal Centre\, 285 County Road 44\, in Kemptville. \nJudging took place at 9:00 am this morning\, and the fair is open to the public from 11:00 am. \nThe Awards Ceremony will start at approximately 3:00 pm in the Theatre. \nThere are 70 STEM projects ready to be presented by the youth of Leeds\, Grenville and Lanark Counties. \nThe Rideau-St. Lawrence Science Fair is open to students who are under the age of 21\, in Leeds\, Grenville or Lanark Counties and are in Grades 7 to OAC. \nThe Fair began in 1962 and was organised by a group of scientists and engineers from DuPont Canada. Since then\, they have welcomed many officials and participants from Lanark\, Leeds and Grenville’s teaching\, medical\, scientific\, and technical community. Without their dedicated work and support\, the Fair would not happen. \nMany of the participants have gone on to the Canada-Wide Science Fair (CWSF)\, where\, despite our small size\, they have enjoyed great success. The CWSF participants have won Best of Fair\, Gold\, Silver and Bronze medals\, scholarships\, monetary prizes\, trips and special tours. These projects all required an idea with a good question\, some research and hard work. This funny\, zany\, heartfelt musical is an excellent showcase for the many spectacular talents of the Music Theatre – Performance students and will be fun for the whole family!” said Kyle Golemba\, Professor and Music Theatre Placement Liaison at SLC. \nThe Cat in the Hat tells the story of Horton\, an elephant who discovers a speck of dust containing Whos. Horton faces a double challenge–not only must he protect the Whos from a world of naysayers and dangers\, but he must guard an abandoned egg left in his care.
