SUMMARY:46th Annual Brockville Terry Fox Run
DESCRIPTION:The 46th annual Terry Fox Run is being held on Sunday\, September 20th in Brockville and across Leeds & Grenville. \nIn Brockville\, the run is being held at the Thousand Islands Secondary School (TISS) track with registration starting at noon and the run starting at 1:00pm. \nEveryone is welcome to participate. Come out on Sunday to walk\, run\, support the participants\, and help raise funds for cancer research. \nDonations and pledges can be made through terryfox.org or in person at the event. \nThe run will start with the ceremonial walk around the TISS track piped out by a piper before heading out for the 5K run/walk. \nThe five-kilometre route runs along Parkedale Avenue to the Brock Trail across from the police station\, where participants then head north to Laurier Boulevard\, then west to Windsor Drive and back to TISS. \nIn the 45 years since Terry Fox dipped his artificial leg in the waters of the Atlantic Ocean off the coast in St. John’s\, N.L.\, and ran the equivalent of a marathon (26 miles) a day\, over $900 million has been raised by Terry Fox Run participants. \nLocally\, the Brockville Terry Fox Run has raised half a million dollars since 1981. \nCome out and help Brockville carry on Terry Fox’s incredible legacy for the 46th year!

DESCRIPTION:The 22nd Annual Run to Remember begins Thursday\, September 24\, 2026\, at 8:00 a.m. at the Ontario Police Memorial in Queen’s Park\, Toronto. \nFrom there\, over 200 runners representing police services across Canada will embark on a powerful three-day journey to Ottawa—honouring the brave men and women who gave their lives in the line of duty. \nThe annual stop in Brockville on Friday\, Septemver 25th will arrive in the city roughly between 5pm and 5:35pn and finish up on CourtHouse Green for a brief ceremony welcoming the runners and riders. \nMembers of SOLE – Survivors of Law Enforcement – will join along the route\, remembering and celebrating their loved ones.\nFollow our journey here and on Facebook and X.
