The club is located at 1 Melbourne Lane off Lord Mills Road in Augusta Township! \nPilot Fee of $10.  Camping is available at the field.  If setting up before Friday night please contact a club member to help determine the location to set up camp.\n\n\n\nBreakfast will be available on Saturday and Sunday to purchase. Lunch will be available on Saturday to purchase.  \nPreregistration is required for Claude’s Brisket dinner on Saturday night ($25). Contact Claude Melborne at crs.inkandtoner@gmail.com to purchase dinner tickets. \nCampfire and night flying weather permitting. \nSwap Meet: You are welcome to bring items to sell at this event. \nThe public is welcome to attend for free.   \nThis event is a fundraiser for the South Grenville Food Bank. Feel free to bring donations of canned goods or money. \nIf you wish to collect sponsorships for this event\, your first $100 of donations collected covers your pilot fee. DESCRIPTION:Join us in Brockville on Monday\, July 1st\, 2024 for the Canada Day Festivities on Court House Green and later on\, Fireworks at the waterfront in the evening after dark. \nThe City of Brockville will commemorate the 157th birthday of our great nation of Canada on Monday\, July 1st\, 2024 Canada Day in beautiful downtown Brockville. \nOur first portion begins at Brockville City Hall\, 1 King Street West. The Brockville Pipe and Drum Corp will lead a march of the Scarlet Clad Infantry Re-enactors\, representatives of The Brockville Rifles\, The Brockville Fire Department and Police Services\, those who have served our country in times of war and times of peace\, along with a number of local dignitaries. \nAt 11:45 the procession will march West on King Street and then North on Court House Avenue. At 12:00 noon the singing of “O Canada” shall take place on Court House Green\, to be followed by recognitions and speeches. \nFollowing that\, cupcakes will be served to the public to celebrate the special occasion. Please join friends and neighbours during this commemorative Canada Day event. Let’s reflect on how fortunate we are to live in a nation of such bounty\, peace and security. \nIn the evening\, there will be a fireworks display at the waterfront over the St. Lawrence River just out from Blockhouse Island after dark (approximately 9:45 pm). Blockhouse Island Parkway will be open to pedestrians but will be closed to vehicles starting at 7:00 pm. Please note that in the event of any high winds or potential for lightning\, the event is postponed to the following evening.
