DESCRIPTION:The 2024 Augusta Mayor’s Breakfast is being held on Friday\, March 22nd at the Roebuck Community Centre\, 7024 County Road 18. \nThe Township’s annual Mayor’s Breakfast will see Mayor Jeff Shaver and his guests give an economic development update for the Township and surrounding area. \nThis year’s theme will be “Dream\, Dare\, Deliver“. \nThe event begins at 7:30 am and the cost for entrance and breakfast is $20 per person. \nThe keynote speaker is Charlie Mignault\, Commissioner of\, the St. Lawrence Corridor Economic Development Commission. \nSchedule: \n7:30 am – Networking\n8:00 am – Breakfast\n8:30 am – Presentations\n9:30 am – Wrap Up \nPlease Note: In order for your registration to be complete\, you must complete the form at: https://augusta.ca/business-growth/economic-development-2/mayors-breakfast-2024/ and submit your payment by March 14\, 2024. DESCRIPTION:On February 12\, 2024\, the Brockville Police Service in partnership with Lanark\, Leeds and Grenville Mental Health would like to invite the community to join our “Night in the Cold\,” event from 6:00 pm to 2:00 am. The idea is to all come together to address the critical need for shelter\, and our ever-growing unhoused population.\n\n\n\nThe Cooperative Care Centre provides information and guidance to those who are seeking assistance when it comes to connecting to services within the community.\n\nThe CCC provides a warm meal each night\, breakfast and a lunch to go each day to their guests. They will also provide supplies such as clothing\, hygiene and various other items. All these items are generously donated by community members and local businesses.\n\n\n\nYour support is key to making a positive impact on our community.
