DESCRIPTION:On February 12\, 2024\, the Brockville Police Service in partnership with Lanark\, Leeds and Grenville Mental Health would like to invite the community to join our “Night in the Cold\,” event from 6:00 pm to 2:00 am. The idea is to all come together to address the critical need for shelter\, and our ever-growing unhoused population.\n\n\n\nThe Cooperative Care Centre provides information and guidance to those who are seeking assistance when it comes to connecting to services within the community.\n\nThe CCC provides a warm meal each night\, breakfast and a lunch to go each day to their guests. They will also provide supplies such as clothing\, hygiene and various other items. All these items are generously donated by community members and local businesses.\n\n\n\nYour support is key to making a positive impact on our community. We will bring the complete Rock and roll never forgets Bob Seger show with our great friends The Foils into town for a one-night-only Christmas bash. \nThis will be an intimate and live setting and we are going to bring on the holiday season with a bang. Tickets are very limited for this event so get them early. We have them on sale at Finnigan’s Bar and the Texas Tavern in downtown Brockville. We also have them at the mill and through me at 613-803-8766. \nSpread the news as we don’t get to do this in Brockville much and a very happy holiday season to you all from the DIFA foundation and Aaron’s M.I.L.L.
