DESCRIPTION:The 14th annual event runs from Friday\, June 30th to Sunday\, July 2nd along the Brockville waterfront\, Armagh Sifton Price Park and Blockhouse Island. \nThere will be hydroplane racing on both Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm\, along with live music Friday\, Saturday and Sunday nights. SUMMARY:Habitat for Humanity Thousand Islands Celebrating 25 Years
DESCRIPTION:Habitat for Humanity Thousand Islands is celebrating its 25th anniversary this Sunday\, June 11th at the ReStore at 3039 County Road 29 just north of Brockville. \nThe fun-filled day will include lots of cool games\, amazing food and super awesome live music! \nThe celebration runs from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm and will feature a cake cutting\, food\, a live and silent auction and live music by the Liam Deery Project. \nAs well there will be a special dedication to Valerie Kines the founder of Habitat for Humanity Thousand Islands. Kines a former business women and city councillor started the local Habitat for Humanity in 1997. \nValerie Kines died on April 18th\, 2017 in Brockville of pancreatic cancer at the age of 80 and in her memory\, the Valerie Kines Memorial Scholarship was created. It is awarded to a female student enrolled in the first year Business program at St. Lawrence College in Brockville who shows entrepreneurial spirit\, is community-minded\, and is active in making a difference in their community. \nThere will also be the official presentation of an Ontario Trillium Foundation Grant which will assist Habitat for Humanity Thousand Islands with Strategic Planning Goals and will help to create a strategic plan that will be a vital tool in guiding the organization in the coming years.

DESCRIPTION:June 10th starting at 10:00 am at the Brockville Memorial Center the community will come together to show Slater how much extra local love there is. \nIt will be a fun-filled day with Bouncy Castles\, Face painting\, Carwash and BBQ\, Kitley Fire\, Brockville Police\, O.P.P. of Leeds and Grenville\, Dunk Tank\, YMCA of Brockville and even more to come. \nThere will be live Music by Willy Stevenson from 11 am to 1 pm\, Tinted Wisdom from 2 pm to 5 pm and another one to come. We have a silent auction that will be launched soon with over 60 prizes from so many great organizations in Brockville and Area and still collecting prizes.
