The sales take place at the Mac Johnson Wildlife Area’s tree nursery\, located at 4673 Debruge Road (Tin Cap) in Brockville. \nIn early May\, after taking inventory\, the Friends will post a list of species for sale (which will include deciduous and coniferous trees\, as well as shrubs) at www.cataraquiconservation.ca/pages/friends-mac-johnson. \nPayment can be made by credit or debit card\, cheque\, or cash. DESCRIPTION:With the warmer weather temptingly not far off\, and with those looking to add some trees or shrubs to both beautify their property and help the environment get itchy green thumbs\, the Friends of the Mac Johnson Wildlife Area have announced the dates for their annual spring Tree Sales. \nStarting with a special kick-off barbecue lunch and information session about pollinators on Saturday\, May 20\, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.\, subsequent sales will run Wednesday\, May 24; Saturday\, May 27 and Wednesday\, May 31\, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon each day. The sales take place at the Mac Johnson Wildlife Area’s tree nursery\, located at 4673 Debruge Road (Tin Cap) in Brockville. \nIn early May\, after taking inventory\, the Friends will post a list of species for sale (which will include deciduous and coniferous trees\, as well as shrubs) at www.cataraquiconservation.ca/pages/friends-mac-johnson. \nPayment can be made by credit or debit card\, cheque\, or cash. Members of the Friends of the Mac Johnson Wildlife Area receive a 10 percent discount on all purchases\, plus free wildflowers and vegetables (while supplies last).
