DESCRIPTION:The annual Cardinal Labour Day LabourFest is being held September 4\, 5\, 6 & 7\, 2026. \nTonight will see a steak dinner being held from 5:30pm to 7:30pm at the legion followed by live entertainment by Cory Coons starting at 8:00pm. \nCanine Watersports Canada will be there from Saturday\, September 5th to Monday\, September 7th. \nThere will also be a BBQ on Saturday\, all day\, live music featuring 8th Mile\, Spencer Scharf and Cindy Goldberg from noon until 7:00pm on Saturday. Also there will be a Show & Shine from noon until 3:00pm. \nIn addition\, there will be a Horseshoe Tournament\, Cornhole Tournament and Royal Canadian Wrestling starting at 6:00pm on Saturday outdoors in front of legion. \nSunday will see a breakfast hosted by the Legion Ladies Auxiliary from 8:00am to 11:00am. \nThe popular LabourFest Parade is set to start at 11:00am. This year’s theme is ‘Labour Day’ celebrating the workers\, the trades and community members who keep our communities strong. \nParade lineup begins at 10:00am on Disheau and First Street. \nSunday will also feature\, live music by Lyric Rogers and Jamison\, along with a petting zoo\, bouncy castles\, fishing pond\, ice cream social\, food truck\, luminary lane and fireworks at dusk. \nLabour Day Monday will feature the breakfast from 8:00am to 11:00am again\, Soap Box Derby starting at 9:00am. \nAt noon on Monday is the 50/50 draw. \nFor more information and latest updates\, please visit: https://www.facebook.com/cardinalfestivalcommittee/
